9 und zehn

Went to deutsche klasse. New german teach! Much more productive, massive difference in learning.

Went on a run and managed to run into (ha.) alot of cool things about Darmstadt. I also went by the student residence where my fellow Camberwellians live. It was an eye opener as to how small Darmstadt really is!

Things I saw:

1. This huge colourful appartment block which looked like it was based on Aladin.

2. Big park that seems to lead out to nowhere.

3. Small pretty park which is near the centre.

Sounds alot less exciting written out like that.

Then, in the eve, we went to KAREOKE in the irish pub which is actually massive and has a full on stage. All the Erasmus kids were there and filled about a third of the pub. On a few occasions everyone got up on the stage in front of the bemused german people left sitting down watching in awe as the drunken mass filled the stage.

Ritchie performed a solo piece (what a heartthrob) and Liv and I performed Beyonce, Irreplacable. Which everyone obvs loved.

It was a night of love and bonding and most people still managed to come into the german class that started at 9 in the morning. Which brings me to day 10, which started with a highly motivating german class and ended with me booking a train last minute to go back to see the fam in Switzerland. Although there was a super cool event on called 'Organic Disco' where you can go on your bike and while you make your own electricity you can get your bike cleaned, it is ma baby sisters last weekend so home calls.
